3D Design students have been experimenting with carving. We first practiced with soap, then moved to sheet rock. Students designed a symbol to represent them, then carved it into the sheet rock and added acrylic paint. They are currently on display outside the art room and in the library. They look great!

ALL Salem Junior High students are invited to participate in the PTA Reflections contest! In the visual arts category, students may create and submit original 2-D artwork (drawing or painting), photographs, or 3-D artwork. The theme is "Let Your Imagination Fly." Students that are interested in participating will need to get an entry form from the office, room 101, or online. ALL entries are DUE (with a completed entry form) to the office on October 7th.
