3D Design students have been experimenting with carving. We first practiced with soap, then moved to sheet rock. Students designed a symbol to represent them, then carved it into the sheet rock and added acrylic paint. They are currently on display outside the art room and in the library. They look great!
My awesome students and I will be available after school to sign autographs... ;)
3D Design students have been hard at work creating masks using cardboard, plaster cloth and acrylic paint. We first studied masks and their uses in other cultures, then students created their own.
